Pat Mcgrath X Maison Margiela SS24

Pat McGrath has done it again. There’s a reason she was able to create a billion dollar company in just 4 years - she is the epitome of artistry.

For Maison Margiela’s SS24 Couture Show in Paris, she explored the intersection of fantasy and reality, turning each model into a real-life porcelain doll. Between the colorful shadows, 1920’s themed thin, arched brows, blotted, pouty lips and glistening skin, this is by far the most iconic makeup look of 2024.

If you’re anything like me, nosy and makeup obsessed, I’m sure you’ve searched the internet up and down to get the tea on what products Miss McGrath used for this stunning makeup.

After backstage footage of models removing a mask-like glazed film surfaced, many artists are speculating that the Kryolan Liquid Glass was used to create the glass skin look. However, Pat McGrath quickly let us know through a comment left on Niko Haagenson’s tiktok that this was not the product used, but to stay tuned for the big reveal.

In the meantime, I’ll share what we do know so far, via Pat’s instagram.

The eyes: shadows from the Mothership I, Mothership VI, and MTHRSHP Mega palettes and PermaGel Ultra Glide Eye Pencil in Xtreme Black
