Kaya Coleman is a Panamanian-American certified Makeup Artist and writer based in New York City. Trained by the New York Makeup Academy, Kaya is skilled in editorial, runway, celebrity/special event makeup, and e-commerce. Kaya’s art is focused on creating a sense of confidence, joy, and resilience through self-acceptance in all who wear her looks. Inspired by love, curiosity, color, Panamá, Black women and God, Kaya’s work is a blend of natural and ethereal beauty. She seeks to bring life through her work and to celebrate the magic that innately exists in all people, regardless of their features and forms.

She has extensive NYFW experience, working on the teams of Sheika Daley, Isamaya Ffrench, and Raisa Flowers for brands such as Laquan Smith, Alexander Wang, OFF-WHITE, Bronx and Banco, and more.
